Keep your nickname
Connect first, then register or sign in with NickServ. Use a separate password, 12–32 characters. These buttons send it privately to NickServ, never to the channel.

Open The Lounge advanced client
Channel tabs, nickname lists and mobile chat. Public sessions disconnect when closed; persistent member sessions are a future addition. Type !help for UTLGuide games and tools.

Use /nick NewName, /join #retro, /me waves or /quit. To register: /msg NickServ REGISTER your-new-password. To sign in later: /msg NickServ IDENTIFY your-password. Never reuse your server or BBS password. Chat is live and not a private messaging service. The browser does not save chat history locally.

Direct TLS access on irc.unixtechlab.dev:6697 is not activated yet. Use browser chat for now.
